Music for Strangers

The idea behind the album

The idea for Music for Strangers was to write a collection of motifs to  represent different people and their personalities. In the 21st Century we are more connected than ever and I used this to my advantage to write this album. Using TikTok and Instagram’s Live Video functions I found random strangers and during their live videos, I wrote a theme for them and picked a specific solo instrument based on their personality. Every track represents a different stranger apart from the final track, which brings all the soloists together to represent all the strangers in the album in one track.
